Mango, Pineapple & Banana Smoothie

The blog has really grown so much in the last month. Quite frankly I’m amazed at the amount of people who are interested in what I have to say. It’s a pretty awesome feeling, so thank you! With that in mind, I was looking back over the blog & noticed that I accidentally allowed a horrible thing to happen. I’d understand if all you lovely people were disappointed. As of today, it has officially been eight days since I posted a smoothie recipe. I know, I’m such a failure. 

How did I possibly let that happen? I’ve been having smoothies more or less everyday now for a few weeks. All sorts of flavours. All sorts of toppings. I’ve even made some to bring out with me for a quick boost when I go into town. They’re healthy AND delicious. Dream combination or what!?

With the inclusion of mango & pineapple, this is such a luscious & tropical smoothie. For a brief escape to the tropical beaches of Hawaii whiz up this easy peasy smoothie, grab your sunglasses, head out to the garden & sip to your heart’s content. If that doesn’t do it for you, stick your feet in the sandbox & you’ll definitely believe it. Just make sure not to do that in your local park, you’ll scare the kids away. 

Serves 2 

Ingredients 

  • 1 mango, chopped into chunks
  • 1 cup of pineapple chunks
  • 1 banana, cut up
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 7 ice cubes
  • 2 teaspoons of honey

Method 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
