Homemade Cinnamon Bread

Okay, so I have a cinnamon obsession. I never really noticed how much cinnamon I use every single day until I started blogging. Not a day goes by that I don’t have cinnamon, I just add it to everything! This Homemade Cinnamon Bread is slightly different, I needed it for my delicious Banana & Chocolate Chip Baked French Toast. My yearning to try homemade cinnamon bread was only half the reason it was baked.

The pictures aren’t that great because a) it was 6am & the lighting was all screwy & b) it was 6am, so I wasn’t exactly functioning correctly. But still, I think we can all appreciate a good cinnamon swirl when we see it. Doesn’t it look so impressive? I practically squealed with happiness everytime I cut a new slice. Like I said, it was 6am.

This is going to sound ridiculous, but I was really pleased with how bready it turned out. It was just like regular bread, except with an amazingly cinnamony interior. What more could you ask for?

It rose a bit more than I was expecting when it was in the oven, so that’s why the slices are kind of oddly shaped. It actually looked really cool when we took it out, bread pouring out over the sides, & thankfully The Boyf worked his magical powers & got it all out in one piece. I love the way the lopsided sides make it look!

Between the Banana & Chocolate Chip Baked French Toast & it’s general yumminess, this bread didn’t last too long. Everytime I came into the kitchen it practically called my name.

I would highly recommend toasting this baby & spreading it with a generous helping of Nutella. Melted Nutella & cinnamon goodness = absolute perfection. Even at 6am in the morning I can appreciate Nutella & cinnamon, oh yes.
