Blueberry & White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
The last few days have been pretty awesome for me: I got my first exam over & done with (only three more left until summer starts!), the weather here has been amazing, & don’t get me started about the amazing deal that I got on a huge bunch of bananas. But I have to say, the topping on the cake of awesome that my life has been, is that last night I booked flights to Zadar! Yes, the Zadar in lovely lovely Croatia. & I’m going in just two weeks time! Can you hear the high pitched excitement in my voice? So I figured I’d share around some happiness by posting about these delicious cookies I made last week.
Even if you still have millions of exams & countless hours of study left to do & it’s lashing rain outside & you didn’t get a bargain on loads of bananas, I promise you that these cookies will make everything worthwhile & infinitely better. The first bite you take, with the chewy oatmeal texture & the sweetness of the white chocolate & the explosion of blueberry in your mouth, will transport you to a better place. A place where there are no exams & the sun is always shining & there are constant deals on bananas. At least that’s what happened to me.
Let me tell you how good these cookies were. So. I took the pictures before I went to work & wasn’t really that happy with the lighting etc & so I planned to take more when I got home. Off I went to work, 20ish tempting cookies sitting in the kitchen. Okay, I figured my family would eat some – what sane person wouldn’t!? But I didn’t think they’d eat as much as they did. I came home & there was a single cookie left. One cookie. I was only gone for 4 hours!
That’s how good these cookies are. It’s useless trying to resist their devilishly tasty charms, they’re impossible to resist. You see those two cookies in that picture below? Yeah, they didn’t last very long. Just go with me on this one: these cookies will make your life so much better.
