Blueberry & Mango Smoothie


The weather in Ireland recently has been strange. Extremely out of the ordinary. It’s been… warm! Sure, it was still rainy & windy, but it was warm. I hope you understand what a big deal that is. It’s never warm here. When I think of warm weather I think of ice-creams & milkshakes & cool drinks & fruit. Cue Blueberry & Mango Smoothie. 

Technically it’s a blueberry, mango, kiwi & orange smoothie, but I figured that was too long a title. It could also be called a ‘Mix of All the Fruit in Your House Smoothie’, but that’s lacking a certain something. 

Moving on.. 


The best thing about smoothies is that they’re so simple to make. & they’re packed full of fruit. & they’re good for you. & they’re yummy. Okay, so there’s a lot of good things about smoothies. Come to think of it, I don’t know why I don’t make them more often. 


I only made enough smoothie for two glasses, but it scales up easily. Also, you really can add in whatever fruit you like, this just happened to be what I had lying around. Enjoy!

Serves 2 


  • 1 ½ cups of yogurt 
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 1 mango, cut up into chunks
  • 1 kiwi, cut up into chinks
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 5 ice cubes


  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender & blend on a high speed until smooth. 
  2. Pour into glasses & enjoy. 

So. Simple.
